  4. This 2nd demo version is dedicated to Sergeant and Yakgirl who recently got married
  5. on IRC. May they have a long and happy life togther!

  8. Here is a legal demo of our forthcomming web browser 'IBrowse'. This version is
  9. far from completed and it does not contain all the latest features available in
  10. the real version.
  11. The demo version was finished in a hurry and therefore it may very well contain
  12. bugs.
  13. This version is still a very early alpha and it is not very common to release such
  14. a version.  Remember, we do _not_ force you to try it and you did _not_ pay for it.
  15. It is known that IBrowse can crash disks if it crashes during caching of data.
  16. Therefore, run Ibrowse from a small paritition which can be validated fast.
  17. Due to a major rewrite, it is not possible to add items to the hotlist. You can
  18. however add items yourself in the Prefs/Hotlist file.

  20. This beta will expire in 28 days. You may then get a new demo on our home page:

  24. Since this is a demo version, ceratain limitations exists:
  25. It is not possible to use more than 1 window.
  26. Forms and tables are dissabled.
  27. It is only possible to use 4 network connections at the same time.

  29. I hope you understand why I have put these limitations there.

  34.  KS3.0 or later
  35.  MUI3.0 or later.
  36.  ZGIF.datatype 39.16 or later (for transparent gifs)
  37.  AmiTcp3.0b2 or later. (MLink might alos work)

  39. Hardware
  40.  68020 or higher (due to a bug somewhere, it doesn't work on 68000s yet)
  41.  4MB fast memory recomended.

  44. Usage:
  45. Dearchive the files where you want them
  46. Make an assign 'ibrowse:' to the dir where the Cache and Prefs dir are.
  47. Run IBrowse and go for the net ;)
  48. Currently only 'http://' and 'file://localhost/' protocols are implemented.
